Married woman assaulted over dowry, in-laws left home
Bulandshahr. In Khurja, the in-laws beat up the married woman over dowry and left her maternal home. The victim has given a complaint to the police. Yashika, a resident of the area, told that she was married one and a half years ago to a youth resident of Aligarh district. The in-laws were not happy with the dowry given and were harassing her. It is alleged that on Wednesday the in-laws assaulted the married woman and left her Khurja's maternal home. After which the victim narrated the ordeal to her maternal side and reached the Kotwali and lodged a complaint with the police. The police has assured the woman of action.
