Man jumps to his death in front of a Blue Line Metro in Noida

Sources allege that Vijay Yadav, the culprit in the recent discoveries in the Lucknow court shooting case where Sanjeev Maheshwari alias Jeeva was shot dead, divulged several crucial details while being questioned. Sanjeev Jeeva, a criminal Mukhtar Ansari’s known friend, was assassinated on Wednesday in a Lucknow court.

According to the autopsy report, he was struck by at least 8 gunshots, causing 16 entrance and exit wounds. On Thursday, the gangster’s last rituals were conducted.

Sanjeev Jeeva’s alleged killer, Vijay Yadav, has admitted to police that he was given Rs 20 lakh in exchange for Jeeva’s murder. According to reports, he had been given Rs 5,000 in advance, with the whole sum to be paid following the “assignment.”

Vijay Yadav reportedly did not recognise Jeeva. He received a picture of Jeeva. Some of Jeeva’s close relatives may potentially be implicated in Jeeva’s murder, according to police suspicions. These close friends were the ones who objected to Jeeva wearing a bulletproof jacket, citing the summertime heat. When Jeeva used to appear in court, he would wear a bulletproof jacket.

When Vijay was invited to Jaunpur and given the assignment to assassinate Jeeva, he was in Mumbai. Vijay travelled from Jaunpur to Bahraich. Sources claim that he was given a revolver produced in the Czech Republic in Bahraich itself.

The Uttar Pradesh government informed the Supreme Court that Sanjeev Jeeva’s last rites were conducted on Thursday, June 8. His wife Payal Maheshwari was not permitted to go to gangster Jeeva’s last burial. His wife will not be detained, his family was notified. She was still absent from the scene. His last rites were administered by the gangster’s son.
