Socialists gathered in Saifai on Mulayam Singh Yadav's birth anniversary and resolved to follow the path shown by Netaji
Samajwadi Party's mentor and former Defense Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav's 84th birth anniversary was celebrated with simplicity in Saifai. On this occasion, the National President of Samajwadi Party and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav said that today we all are remembering Netaji. We have to take a pledge to take the socialist movement to its height by following the path of socialism, brotherhood, and harmony that Netaji showed us. Earlier, Akhilesh Yadav and other family members paid floral tributes at Netaji's tomb.
Akhilesh Yadav said that the people here have seen the struggle of Netaji. The development that is visible around Saifai Etawa, Mainpuri was done by Netaji. Netaji did historic work in every field. When he became the Defense Minister, he made arrangements to take the dead bodies of the martyred soldiers to their homes while protecting the country. Gave full respect to the martyred soldiers. Netaji showed the path of socialism and raised the socialist movement. We will strengthen the socialist ideology by following the economic and political challenges with which we struggled throughout our life.
National Vice President Kiranmoy Nanda said that Netaji is in the mind of every worker. Netaji was the biggest secular leader in the country. Samajwadi Party and we will follow the path shown by him. Akhilesh Yadav will take the Samajwadi Party forward in the country. He said that Netaji was popular in every caste, religion, and class in the whole country. He will always be alive in the hearts and minds of the workers. We will strengthen the Samajwadi Party under the leadership of Akhilesh Yadav.
Party's National Chief General Secretary and Rajya Sabha member Prof. Ramgopal Yadav said that Netaji showed the way to live with self-respect to the poor, backward, Dalits, and those who were weak among the forward. Netaji's contribution to the upliftment of the poor is immense. Generations will remember him for ages. He did the work of taking the poor to the Vidhansabha and Lok Sabha.
Former MP and poet Uday Pratap Singh said that Netaji was his student in 1958. Then the teacher was with us. Then there was our leader. We were together for 64 years. Netaji became so popular that the entire Etawah-Mainpuri area is known by his name. There was a big change after he entered politics. Netaji used to participate in everyone's happiness and sorrow. Used to fight for them.
Prespa President Shivpal Singh Yadav said that even though Netaji is not among us today, his memories are alive. Got an opportunity to learn a lot while working with him for a long time. Not only us, but Netaji also took many people to heights. Netaji was a very good wrestler and teacher. People know him not only in the country but in the world. Rising above caste and religion, he worked for the upliftment of farmers, youth, the poor, and women. We have to follow the ideals of Netaji. To fulfill their unfulfilled dreams.
Former Assembly Speaker Mata Prasad Pandey said that today we are remembering our great leader. For the first time, we had formed a socialist government under his leadership. Netaji's works will be remembered for centuries. Senior leader Ramgovind Chowdhary said that Netaji worked to strengthen equality and secular ideology by defeating capitalist and communal forces.
