Speaking on Saturday at the state Assembly’s budget session, Akhilesh Yadav, the head of the opposition and chief of the SP, attacked
Insisting that he and the BJP “quit doing politics in the name of Prabhu Ram,” Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath “They, Ram pehle bhi. Prabhu Ram hamesha rahenge, Prabhu Ram aaj bhi hai. Prabhu Ram tab bhi the, jab hum aur aap nahi the. Prabhu Ram tab bhi rahenge, jab hum aur aap nahi rahenge,” Akhilesh said.
“Aisa kehke aap prabhu Ram ka apman to kar hi rahe hai, isliye kehna ki aap prabhu Ram ko layen hai,” he said. “Saath hi saath dharma ko bhi apmanit kar rahe hai” (which means that Ram was there before, is present now, and always will be). He was there when neither you nor I were, and he would stay when none of us was there, so to imply that you have brought Ram is to disrespect both the religion and Ram.
Akhilesh stated, “Prabhu Ram ke naam pe rajneeti karna bandh kijiye,” which translates to, “Stop doing politics in the name of Prabhu Ram.” He went on, “What is the need to take the name when Lord Ram is in the heart?
Akhilesh, who is often singled out by Adityanath for his uncle Shivpal Singh Yadav’s supposed “sideline,” said that while the Speaker of the House frequently makes fun of him by putting out such a notion, he does not want to follow suit by calling anybody out.
He continued by saying that despite working hard to ensure the success of the Ram Temple dedication event on January 22 in Ayodhya, the CM was “sidelined.” Rather, Akhilesh proposed, “those who came from Delhi” grabbed all the attention. He said that information on Yogi Adityanath’s visits to Ayodhya for the purpose of organizing the consecration ceremony had been provided.
Akhilesh said, “Jab sahi samay aaya toh focus se out they.” “Yeh line mein bhi nahi they, sidelines mein they,” he said. Akhilesh went on, quoting the government’s assertions about Deepotsava at Ayodhya, saying, “(When the time came, he was not even in focus.” He was on the sidelines, not in the line.
