Ten new buses will be included in the fleet of Roadways Varanasi Zone, the bad will be removed from the road
Preparations are underway to replace Khatara buses of Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation. 80 buses have been allotted to different districts in the state. In this, ten trains will be included in the fleet of the Varanasi region.
After the announcement of the allotment of new buses issued from Lucknow headquarters, an action plan is being prepared at the local level. The depot-wise distribution of vehicles is being discussed. According to the local authorities, some buses declared as 'condemned' will be replaced by them. While some new routes can also be decided. The new trains will reach Varanasi within a day or two.
Seeing the plight of the buses on the roadways, the Transport Minister had indicated a few days ago that new buses could be bought soon. In the last few years, due to the non-availability of parts, the problem of breaking down buses has increased. Regional Workshop Manager Santosh Kumar said that ten buses have been received by the area so far, but a proposal will be sent for more buses.
