The amount of free ration will double thanks to the INDIA bloc: Kharge

Lucknow, May 15: Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge said on Wednesday that the poor’s ration allotment will rise from five kilos to ten kilograms should the India coalition win power.

“Prime Minister Narendra Modi is now claiming credit for the Food Security Act, which was introduced by Congress. The free ration for the needy would be doubled by the INDIA coalition government, he said on Wednesday at a joint press conference with Samajwadi Party President Akhilesh Yadav in this location.

He went on to say that the state would be allowed to add whatever they want for their regions and that the INDIA bloc will put the Panch Nyay and promises outlined in the manifesto into effect.

According to the Congress President, the BJP-led NDA is aligned with the affluent, but the India alliance supports the underprivileged and marginalized segments of society.

He said that the current elections are significant because they represent a struggle between ideas and are necessary to preserve the constitution and the nation’s destiny.

In addition, he said that election agents are being intimidated and opposition leaders are being prevented from submitting candidacy paperwork.

“Level playing fields have to be guaranteed for an election to be free and fair,” he said.

Akhilesh Yadav, the president of the Samajwadi Party, told the media that the BJP is becoming entangled in its negativity.

“On the job they have completed over the last 10 years, they are not requesting votes. They’re employing a brand-new language. Farmers have not forgotten the horrors, and they demand change,” he said.

In response to an inquiry, he said that the BJP was the one communalizing the campaign by bringing up topics like mutton, machhli, and mangalsutra.

He urged Bahujan Samaj members to cast their ballots for the INDIA bloc candidates instead of wasting them.
