Theft of a safe from a bullion shop, estimated to be worth lakhs of jewelry

Unidentified thieves stole a small safe from the shop of Gaj Lakshmi Jewellers, a big bullion and businessman of Sirsaganj on the main market main road of Sirsaganj police station in district Firozabad on Saturday night by breaking the lock from the back gate of the shop. It is estimated that jewelry worth lakhs is kept in the vault. Giving information about the incident, bullion trader Atul Farsaiya said that he had closed the shop at 6 o'clock on Saturday evening.

When the shop opened at around 9:30 am on Sunday morning, I saw a safe kept inside the shop which weighed about 2 to 3 quintals. At some point in the night, thieves stole it from the back gate of the shop by breaking the lock. Also told that the thieves have also stolen the DVR of the CCTV camera with them.

Outrage in bullion association due to a theft incident
Angered by the incident of theft, the Bullion Association kept its shops closed. Along with this, on getting the information, station in-charge Sirsaganj Udayveer Malik reached the spot along with the police team and is taking detailed information about the case the police are trying to find clues of the incident in the CCTV cameras installed nearby. Goldsmith Atul Farsaiya said that the loss of theft is not being assessed yet. However, the forensic team has also reached the spot.
