Unnao: Two friends killed in road accident, relatives pelted stones by jamming, 15 policemen injured in violent clash
Two bike riders were killed in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao on Tuesday in a collision with an XUV car. After this, this morning i.e. on Wednesday, the relatives also demanded compensation and the arrest of the XUV owner on the Unnao-Shuklaganj main road. When the police got information about this, they reached the spot. After this there was a clash between the mob and the police. The mob pelted stones at the police. 15 policemen were injured in stone pelting. Police used force to clear the road.
According to the information, the violent demonstration lasted for about two hours. The police took 35 people into custody in the case. Along with this, many people have been identified. The injured policemen were sent to the hospital for first aid. In this case, a case has been registered under relevant sections including Balwa Act, violation of Corona rules and obstructing government work.

The police have taken the bodies of both the friends in possession and sent them for postmortem. At the same time, police force has been deployed in the village. SP Anand Kulkarni went to the district hospital to take care of the injured policemen. According to the information, two friends Rajesh and Vinay, living in Devi Kheda village of Sadar Kotwal area, were going to Unnao by bike on Tuesday afternoon. Then the XUV car from the other side near the Magarwara outpost hit the bikes from the front.

Both the friends died in the accident. After this, in the evening, the relatives blocked the road outside the district hospital. On this, the SDM pacified the matter after persuading the relatives and got the jam opened. After this, the relatives started protesting this morning by placing the dead body on the road. After this, violent clashes started when the police arrived. 15 policemen were injured in the incident.
