BJP MLA from Salon and former minister Dal Bahadur Kori (BJP MLA Dal Bhadur Kori) in Raebareli, Uttar Pradesh, died during treatment. According to the information, he was admitted for treatment at Apollo Hospital in Lucknow a week ago.
It was reported that Dal Bahadur was infected with Cori corona. Today (May 7) morning, he breathed his last at Apollo Hospital, Lucknow. On the other hand, the news of the death of the MLA triggered a wave of mourning in the area.
Ministers were in Rajnath's government
After informing about the death of Dal Bahadur Kori, party workers and MLA's supporters are reaching his house. Dal Bahadur Kori first became MLA from Salon Vidhan Sabha in 1996 and became Minister of State during Rajnath Singh's Chief Minister.
In 2004, Dal Bahadur joined the Congress but in 2014 he again became disenchanted with the Congress and returned to the BJP. After this, in 2017, BJP won the assembly elections again with a ticket.
CM Yogi has deeply mourned the demise of BJP Legislature Party Bahadur Kori. Wishing the peace of the departed soul, the Chief Minister has expressed condolences to the bereaved families.
26780 new patients found in last 24 hours
On the other hand, 26780 new Kovid cases have come up in Uttar Pradesh during the last 24 hours while 353 people have died due to this. The Yogi government has also issued an order to give 25 percent incentive for doctors to doctors, nurses, para medical and scavengers working on the front line against Kovid.
Additional Chief Secretary of Medical and Health Department Amit Mohan Prasad told that the number of people who died due to this virus has increased to 14504 in UP. During the last 24 hours, Kovid-19 infection has been confirmed in 26780 new patients in the state. At the same time, 28902 patients have recovered and returned to their homes. Currently, 259844 Kovid-19 infected patients are being treated in the state. In a meeting with team-9 officials, CM Yogi on Thursday approved the plan related to providing oxygen at home to patients with home isolation.
