Lucknow. Instructing to manage additional ventilators, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said that there is a need to work proactively for effective control of covid-19 . Emphasizing to be proactive for effective control of covid-19, Yogi said that all the medical facilities should be made available to the patients by better coordination through Integrated Command and Control Center. The Chief Minister was reviewing the unlocked system at a high-level meeting convened at his government residence here. He said that adequate number of medical resources should be maintained and additional ventilators should be provided as required. Portable ventilators should also be arranged.
He also directed to make arrangements for additional ventilators at BRD Medical College, Gorakhpur and Jhansi Medical College immediately. Yogi instructed to conduct more than one lakh tests of Kovid-19 daily. He said that these investigations should be done using RTPCR, TruNat machine and Rapid Antigen method. Instructing to increase the number of antigen tests, he said that the smooth availability of rapid antigen test kit should be in every district. He said that work should be done with utmost sensitivity to make facilities accessible to patients, so that beds, ventilators, oxygen etc. can be made available to every needy. Constant dialogue with isolated patients at home should be monitored.
The Chief Minister said that adequate availability of PPE kits, masks, gloves and sanitizers etc. should be ensured to keep medical personnel safe from infection. The Chief Minister directed that utmost care should be taken to ensure that all festivals are done peacefully.
