49-year-old ‘Dead’ Thai Woman Awakens While Traveling to Cremation

Life is not definite, and death is the one thing that is. Recently, a deceased lady awoke while on route to her burial, shocking her loved ones. The event occurred on June 29 in Thailand’s Udon Thani province while Chataporn Sriphonla, who had been pronounced dead, was being driven home from the hospital. The 49-year-old lady seemed to be dead, and paramedics thought she had stopped breathing, according to Daily Star.

Her elderly mother Mali contacted her family members to inform them of her passing, which they originally believed was the result of her struggle with liver cancer. Mali informed the newspaper that while Sriphonla was receiving cancer treatment at the hospital, the medical staff had advised them that she had a very little chance of surviving.

“I arranged for her to be carried back to our house because I wanted her to spend her final moments with the family. Her mother said, “We were devastated to learn that she had passed away on the way home.

The bereaved family began making funeral arrangements right once in accordance with Buddhist custom, which included purchasing a coffin and arranging for the rites with temple employees. They redirected the vehicle to Phadung Pattana Temple instead of carrying Sriphonla’s body home, where it was intended to be stored overnight.

The “dead woman” suddenly gasped and opened her eyes, startling the people in the vehicle. Mali contacted her family members once again to joyfully share the news of her daughter waking up because she was perplexed by her daughter’s remarkable recovery. Although the family members were stated to be perplexed, they thought the mother clung on so she might see her children before she passed away.

Sriphonla was subsequently transported quickly to Ban Dung Crown Prince Hospital under medical care.

This happened not long ago, too, when a 76-year-old Ecuadorian lady during her burial woke up inside a coffin. She passed away from a heart attack in the hospital a week later, however.
