Gonda: In Uttar Pradesh, Gonda District Police has arrested two accused seeking extortion of one crore by threatening to kill the representative of Kabina Minister on mobile. Superintendent of Police Rajkaran Nayyar told here on Wednesday that Vedprakash Dubey, representative of Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Kabina Minister Ramapathi Shastri, in Nawabganj police station on September 5, by sending messages and calls on mobile phone by unknown, asking for the entire family's life Threatened to kill.

He said that the team set up to reveal the case, using surveillance and micro technology, arrested two accused, including the main accused of the case, Lovkush Yadav and Manish Maurya, and recovered two mobiles. Mr. Nayyar told that the accused Lovekush is a resident of Nawabganj police station area while his partner accused Manish runs a mobile center in Ayodhya. He said that the accused had hatched a conspiracy to implicate their rival Ram Bharat who lives in Maharajganj district.
