IAS visits a school in Damoh, MP, and is welcomed with a special dance performance

Shudhir Kumar Kochar, the IAS district collector of Damoh, Madhya Pradesh, has gained attention for his stern measures to remove the state’s educational anomalies. His lack of duty has led to the suspension of other instructors.

Once a week, the district collector travels to several schools within the district to assess both the physical and non-teaching staff conditions. He just went to a school where he suspended around 13 instructors for doing their jobs inconsistently.

On Monday, District Collector Shudhir Kumar paid a visit to the Government CM Rise School located in Jabera to examine the school’s amenities. Reports state that summer camps are now being offered at many government CM Rise schools located around the district. The state’s kids welcomed him with a variety of cultural acts as soon as he arrived at the institution.

“There are a lot of gifted students here,” he said. I cherished the time I spent with the children. Even those from lower levels exhibit a great deal of creativity in this classroom. Along with the various artistic forms that the pupils displayed, I liked the dance performance by the students.

The District Collector also conducted an inspection of the school’s current building project. After speaking with the authorities, he gave them the go-ahead to finish the job by the scheduled deadline. IAS Shudhir Kumar said, “I closely inspected the ongoing construction work of the new building,” in an interview with Local 18. I discussed the potential obstacles for the future with the authorities tasked with supervising the job. Additionally, I’ve given them instructions to finish the building project on schedule and suggested a few adjustments.

“I was told by the officials that the work is proceeding as scheduled.” They also said that the construction is moving very quickly and could be finished ahead of schedule,” he continued.
