Threatening to sue a client who ‘lied’ about not receiving food, the delivery agent

Nowadays, it is impossible to picture life without meal delivery applications. Your favorite dish may be delivered to your door with only a click of the mouse. But on occasion, your ordered meal may not arrive. You should either get in touch with the delivery person or place a new purchase in this case. Recently, a delivery person approached a client who reported his item as missing and threatened to sue him. On social media, their conversations have gone viral.

On Reddit, a photo of the conversation between the client and the DoorDasher meal delivery man was posted. When the meal was delivered to the customer’s home, the delivery person is seen questioning the customer why he reported his order as missing. In response, the client claimed that his meal was not delivered to his house as asked. The agitated delivery person said, “It’s downstairs because I didn’t want to climb the stairs to get to your apartment.”

Later, he said, “If the customer had searched for his ordered food instead of complaining about it on the application, he would have noticed it was just a few stairs below him.” The delivery agent wrote, “I’m getting fired because of you.” The delivery person asked that the buyer pay his due money back when the customer sought to explain that his goal was not to get the DoorDasher fired. The deliveryman threatened to sue the client if he didn’t succeed.

Even Reddit users responded to the event in the comments section. Many others have also shown support for the client. One commenter noted, “Didn’t want to walk the stairs? That’s basically your job. Don’t worry about this any longer. You didn’t receive what you paid for since he didn’t perform his job. Case resolved. Another joked, “It’s all good. Another mocking remark was, “It’s Doordash, not Downstairs Dash.”

Over 14,000 people have upvoted the conversation snapshot that was released on June 6 as of this writing.
