MP CM Yadav claims that the Congress and Trinamool are adhering to Jinnah’s “divisive” worldview

May 23, Patna Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Mohan Yadav said on Thursday that the leaders of the Congress and Trinamool Congress were emulating the divisive ideologies of Muhammad Ali Jinnah, which resulted in the country’s split.

He said, “The Congress is indulging in divisive agenda in Karnataka and Trinamool Congress Chief Mamata Banerjee is also doing the same thing in West Bengal,” citing the ruling of the Kolkata High Court that quota cannot be granted based on religion. The leaders of the Congress and TMC are carrying out Jinnah’s policy of division, which resulted in the country’s split.”

“A senior Congressman has acknowledged that his party hasn’t done anything for OBCs, SCs, or STs up to this point. Congress has been treating them unfairly. During the administrations of Prime Ministers Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi, Rajiv Gandhi, and Manmohan Singh, injustice was done to SCs, STs, and OBCs. Chief Minister Yadav remarked, “I want to ask Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi to apologise for it now,” on Thursday when visiting Gaya, Bihar.

“The INDIA bloc’s leaders, according to our Prime Minister Narendra Modi, were lying to the SC, ST, and OBC groups. During their term, the OBC Commission has not received constitutional status. It was awarded when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was in office,” he said.

Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav responded to Bihar Opposition leader Tejashwi Yadav cutting a cake in a chopper after 200 election rallies with Vikassheel Insaan Party Chief Mukesh Sahani by saying: “Tejashwi Yadav should focus on the result instead of cutting the cake.” We will surpass 400 in 2024, having reached 300 in 2019. It is now evident that the NDA is leading after five rounds of voting.”
