Apple’s iPhone 15 could not be as popular as the iPhone 14: report

Apple is getting ready for the next iPhone 15 series launch, which should take place probably next month. The market has already begun to predict how many new iPhones the corporation will sell in order to boost its revenue by millions more. However, a recent industry rumor makes it seem like the business could be worried about the demand for the upcoming iPhone 15 series.

According to an update provided by analyst Ming-Chi Kuo this week, Apple may find itself in a position where demand for the iPhone 15 models is lower than what it experienced for the iPhone 14 last year. Over the previous several quarters, demand for smartphones has decreased globally, but Apple has managed to maintain its leadership position.

According to Kuo’s projections, the iPhone 15 series may alter Apple’s trajectory, requiring the corporation to develop backup plans in case of a market downturn.

According to the analyst, if demand for the iPhone 15 series does really decline by the second half of 2023, suppliers will experience growing pressure, which is something Apple wouldn’t want during the first stages of this year’s new iPhone releases. The market has shown that there is demand for iPhones, particularly in the developing economies, despite the pessimistic predictions that Apple has been hearing over the previous several years.

And that’s where the business is now focusing on its significant expansion, as seen by the fact that it earlier this year opened the first batch of unique Apple shops in India.

The iPhone 15 Pro models are likely to draw greater curiosity, but this year’s lineup is anticipated to be more expensive than previous models, which might deter buyers and be the main reason for the demand’s potential slowdown, according to Kuo’s prediction. Once the next iPhone series debuts next month, we’ll only be able to tell whether these demand forecasts are accurate.
