Are You Going To A Bank This Month? Recognize June Holidays

Bank holidays for June 2023 have been made public. It is crucial that everyone be aware of it so they can schedule their visits appropriately. The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) determines the bank holidays in India. It releases a list of bank holidays each year that includes federal, state, and religious holidays.

Banks will be closed for a total of 12 days in the month of June. However, not all banks in the nation will be closed for the whole 12 days. According to the list, banks will be closed on a variety of federal holidays, local celebrations, and weekly holidays including Sunday and the second and fourth Saturdays. The RBI has stated that it will remove 2,000 notes from circulation by September 30, 2023. Check out the list of bank holidays for this month if you want to visit the bank.

On Friday, June 2, 2023, Telangana Formation Day, banks will be closed.

Sant Guru Kabir Jayanti is on June 4, 2023, a Sunday. Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, and Punjab banks will be closed on that day.

On June 10, 2023, Second Saturday Holiday, all banks in India will be closed.

On June 11, 2023, all banks in India will be closed for a Sunday holiday.

Wednesday, June 14, 2023, Pahili Raja: Orissa banks will be closed.

Raja Sankranti YMA Day is on June 15, 2023, a Thursday. Orissa and Mizoram banks will be closed on that day.

Jammu and Kashmir’s banks will stay closed on Thursday, June 15, 2023, in observance of Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday.

On Sunday, June 18, 2023—a weekly holiday—banks will be closed across India.

Tuesday, June 20, 2023, is Ratha Yatra; Orissa and Manipur’s banks will be closed.

On June 24, 2023, Fourth Saturday Holiday, all Indian banks will be closed.

On Sunday, June 25, 2023—a weekly holiday—banks will be closed across India.

During the Kharchi Puja holiday on Monday, June 26, 2023, banks in Tripura will be closed.

Jammu-Kashmir, Maharashtra, and Kerala banks will be closed on June 28, 2023, Wednesday, in observance of Eid-ul-Azha.

On June 29, 2023, Thursday, all banks in India will be closed in observance of Eid-ul-Azha.

Friday, June 30, 2023, Reema-Id-ul-Azha Banks in Mizoram and Odisha will be closed.
