Before its Nov. 29 launch, 2024 Renault Duster’s exterior and interior details were leaked; see the full specs and photos inside

Renault is set to introduce the next generation Duster to all markets worldwide on November 29. But before the vehicle’s official release worldwide, leaked photos of the 2017 Renault Duster have appeared online, providing crucial information about the outside and inside of the next-generation midsize SUV. As previously reported, the new Duster SUV was designed by Renault’s subsidiary brand Dacia and incorporates stylistic ideas from the concept of the Dacia Bigster. In 2025, the new Duster is anticipated to be introduced in India.

Outside of 2024 Renault Duster
The new Duster is larger than the previous model, yet it still has the same rugged, chunky appearance. The new Duster’s front fascia has circular fog lights, vertical air vents, chrome accents on the narrow grille, Y-shaped LED daytime running lamps, and a sizable lower grille fashioned like a flat bull-bar. The redesigned Duster’s side profile includes design cues such as the Bigster-like spoiler, roof rails, new black wheels, and huge squared-off wheel arches. To keep things similar to the Renault Duster of the past, the rear quarter window is still tapering. Its back has unique V-shaped taillights, while the large rear haunches of the previous Duster have been somewhat reduced.

Interior of 2024 Renault Duster
The new Duster’s interior has been completely redesigned with new features like a larger touchscreen infotainment system, built-in navigation, chrome-accented AC vents, a 360-degree view camera, powered windows on the front and rear, dual-fabric seats, and numerous USB charging ports. It has several airbags for enhanced protection, cruise control, three-point seat belts, blind-spot monitoring, and other safety features.

Engine of the 2024 Renault Duster
Three engine choices are anticipated for the 2017 Duster’s launch: a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine with 120 horsepower; a 1.2-liter petrol hybrid engine with 140 horsepower; and a 1.3-liter turbo-petrol engine with 170 horsepower. Since diesel would not be an option for the new Duster, Renault is thinking of developing robust hybrid and plug-in hybrid versions for India that would equal a diesel engine’s efficiency.
