Before the release of Android 14, Google changes the Android logo and announces a list of new features

The updated At a Glance Google Assistant widget, the Lookout visual accessibility app, and Zoom calls in Android Auto are just a few of the many improvements that Google has begun releasing to most of its mobile devices and services ahead of the launch of Android 14 in the coming months. The rebranding is part of the new addition as well.

The animated GIF at Google’s At a Glance widget has been replaced with new information that includes flight status, luggage claim, and weather on the home screen of Android phones. With this, the IT behemoth from California also intends to provide a revamped look with more details on offerings. Users may rely entirely on their phone to offer information on events, travel, and the weather in their area.

Additionally, Google Wallet is receiving changes, making it simpler than ever to submit passes with barcodes and QR codes by just importing the picture. Additionally, a more intelligent description of the scene will be provided by the Lookout program, which provides on-screen picture explanations for users who are blind or have limited vision. Additionally, Zoom and Webex calls are supported on Android Auto.

Additionally, Google will update the font to match the company’s logo, and the term “Android” will now be written with a capital A.

Google brand manager Jason Fournier revealed the revisions in a blog post, claiming that the new logo would bring about more harmony between the two. He also said that the robot now has a 3D look and may change color based on the situation.

On October 4, Google will officially unveil its newest Pixel smartphones to the public. The Pixel 8 series and a thorough announcement of the release of Android 14 may be included in the launch event. Most smartphone manufacturers have so far released the beta.
