Elon Musk requests that users “swipe up” for the next video as X Video gets an Instagram-like swipe feature

Since changing its name to X (previously Twitter), the network has continuously added new features. With the platform’s most recent upgrade, users may now swipe up to view the next video after watching one. This functionality is quite similar to Instagram reels.

The company’s official Twitter account said that viewers may now swipe up on a video to see the suggested video based on the company’s algorithm. Elon Musk, the owner of X, has already made a hint about the new impending feature, claiming that the platform would introduce a “Video Swipe feature” to provide an immersive video experience with only a swipe.

Elon Musk replied to the repost on his own account with the phrase “Swipe Up” and an emoji. As previously mentioned, there is a straightforward method for using the video swiping function. Instead of forcing users to read through the stream in search of fresh information, the platform wants people to interact with the videos by letting them swipe to view new ones.

The social platform is currently being developed by Elon Musk’s microblogging service X to become an all-encompassing program. This makes it simpler for consumers to communicate with their loved ones by offering video and voice call services in the near future.

Since Elon Musk closed the high-profile, multi-billion dollar acquisition and acquired Twitter (now X), the platform has seen a lot of changes. Since then, the platform has undergone several modifications, including the addition of Twitter Blue, fresh features, and a new name: X.

Additionally, the business has dismissed the majority of its top executives, as well as other employees, and even shut down operations in several nations.
