Lamborghini Urus SE: Rouven Mohr explains the most powerful Urus

The plug-in hybrid version of the SUV, the Urus SE, was introduced by Automobili Lamborghini. Prior to making its official premiere on April 25 at Auto China Beijing 2024, the super SUV went undercover. This will be the company’s second hybrid vehicle available globally.

The Urus SE has a completely reworked front fascia with a new grille, bumper, and thinner LED lighting. The hood is floating and lacks vents.

The model also features Y-shaped tail lights, a diffuser, and a new spoiler on the back. Additionally, compared to the normal Urus, the aerodynamic efficiency has been improved by new under-body air vents and redesigned air ducts, which have increased airflow to cool mechanical and engine components by 15%.

It is equipped as standard with brand-new 23-inch alloy wheels and brand-new Pirelli P Zero tires. The SUV will also be available in more than 100 color combinations, including two new ones: Bianco Sapphirus (white) with Terra Kedros (terracotta) interior and Arancio Egon (orange) with Arancio Apodis (orange) interior.

Features of Urus SE
The front dashboard of the Urus SE has been updated with new design elements within the interior. A bigger 12.3-inch infotainment screen with user-friendly controls and visuals reminiscent of the Revuelto is one of the other noteworthy modifications. It also has new air vents, sporadic anodized metal accents, and a 12.3-inch driver’s display that is incorporated into the center console and dashboard.

Urus SE: Drivetrain
The twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 engine and electric motor in the hybrid powertrain of the Urus SE produce 788 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque. Under the cargo floor is a 25.9-kWh lithium-ion battery that powers the Urus SE’s electric drivetrain, which allows it to go over 60 kilometers. In addition to the current six Urus driving modes, the hybrid engine adds four additional Electric Performance Strategies (EPS) for a total of eleven possibilities. The new EPS offers EV Drive, Hybrid, Performance, and Recharge choices in addition to the well-known Strada, Sport, and Corsa modes for varied road conditions and the Neve, Sabbia, and Terra modes for off-road terrain.
