NLC India places an order with I-Fox Windtechnik, a subsidiary of Inox Green Energy Services, for the rehabilitation of 33 WTGs

The wind power operations and maintenance (O&M) service provider Inox Green Energy Services Ltd (IGESL) stated on Tuesday that its subsidiary I-Fox Windtechnik India Private Limited (I-Fox) has received an order from the government of India’s Navratna PSU, NLC India Ltd (NLCIL). The ruling calls for the restoration of NLCIL’s wind power facility, which is situated in Tamil Nadu’s Tenkasi District, and has 33 1.5 MW wind turbine generators.

The firm said that the contract’s scope includes providing materials and spare parts as well as other operations necessary for the restoration of the 33 WTGs within an 8-month timeframe. During the contract term, the company expects to realize income of around Rs 39.5 crore, including taxes.

“We are delighted to receive another order from NLC India, a Navratna PSU, after securing the contract for comprehensive O&M of 51MW WTGs for 5 years during the last year,” said SK Mathu Sudhana, CEO of IGESL. This order is evidence of the trust our customers have placed in our wide range of service offerings and the skills we have developed over the years. This marks yet another significant turning point in the development of IGESL and its subsidiary I-Fox Wind, and we are making good progress toward all of our goals.

With a fleet of more than 3.2 GW, Inox Green Energy Services is an Indian supplier of wind power operations and maintenance (O&M) services. The company’s line of work is offering wind farms long-term O&M services. It belongs to the INOXGFL Group and is a subsidiary of Inox Wind Limited, with whom it has a synergistic connection.

A term sheet for the 100% equity disposal of Nani Virani Wind Energy Private Limited SPV was signed by IGESL earlier in October. It had said that the SPV, a 50 MW operational wind farm in Gujarat, had been put into service on May 23.
