Taskmo’s founders leave when Quess acquires the company

The founders of Taskmo, a gig economy platform, Prashant Janadri and Naveen Ram, left the firm after increasing the business 20 times in the previous two fiscal years and finalizing its purchase by Quess Corp, an early investor in the platform.

Taskmo was established in 2020, and its purchase represents a major accomplishment for the company. Taskmo will be autonomous while being a part of Quess Corp. The business received $1.4 million in its initial fundraising round in 2021 with Quess, and the same strategic partner thereafter led rounds of debt and equity financing.

Taskmo states that throughout the previous two fiscal years, company had a 20X increase in growth. Prominent businesses include Jiomart, Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Zomato, Rapido, Uber, Ola, HDFC, and Swiggy are just a few of the ones with whom the platform has collaborated.

“We experienced a little shyness from workers to opt for gig work in our early days,” said Prashant Janadri, co-founder and CEO of Taskmo, “but our seamless opportunities with the ease of product helped us serve more than 35,000 unique taskers or gig workers so far.”
