With the release of the Apache RTR 310, TVS hopes to double sales of 310cc motorcycles

The flagship model in the 310cc line and newest bike from TVS is the Apache RTR 310.Priced at Rs. 2.43 lakh (ex-showroom), it is available. The Apache RR and RTR variants were both created with BMW Motorrad’s assistance.

TVS hopes to increase Apache motorbike sales in the Indian market by releasing the 310cc RTR variant. The company allegedly invested Rs 50 crore in an effort to reach the target. Currently, the firm offers 6000–7000 Apache models in India.

In addition, TVS wants to dominate 310 cc motorcycle markets in regions including Europe, Latin America, and the ASEAN nations. To reach the goal, they have the fiscal year (FY) 25 as their deadline. In the first year, TVS plans to sell around 25,000 of these 310cc motorcycles, according to a report by Autocar India.

TVS’ decision to extend the Apache brand name in the market is motivated by the quick expansion that has resulted in sales of around 1.8 million units internationally. Over the previous five years, the company’s revenues have seen a dramatic increase. From 15% to 21%, the numbers have dramatically grown throughout this time. TVS’s sales skyrocketed to more than 9.1 lakh units in the fiscal year of 2023. This was 2 lakh more than the previous year, for a growth rate of 29%.

By the end of September, India will begin receiving TVS Apache RTR 310 deliveries. The business intends to start exporting these motorcycles abroad shortly after that. TVS will first focus on Southeast Asian markets, such as Thailand. By the conclusion of the 2025 fiscal year, the firm also plans to sell bicycles to certain regions of Europe and Latin America.

Additionally, it has been claimed that TVS will be seeking for new retail partners and investigating new potential locations in order to boost sales of the new models and grow their brand. At the bike’s debut, the company’s director and CEO, KN Radhakrishnan, said that while they would continue to work with existing premium merchants in the future, they would also be looking for new options and distribution channels for its customers.
