Aamir Khan laments the unexpected death at age 19 of Dangal co-star Suhani Bhatnagar

Suhani Bhatnagar, who rose to fame in Dangal with Aamir Khan as a young Babita Phogat, died on Saturday at the age of 19. The actress was reportedly taking medicine for a leg fracture that she sustained. But the medications had an adverse effect on her health, which made her body retain fluid.

Suhani has been a patient at the AIIMS hospital in Delhi for a considerable amount of time. The funeral service for her is planned to be in Faridabad. Suhani temporarily stopped performing after her part in the movie “Dangal” so that she may concentrate on her education. Suhani’s family has not yet commented on the situation.

The cast of Aamir Khan has conveyed their sorrow over the tragic news. The actor’s production company, “Aamir Khan Production,” sent a message on X, the old name of Twitter, stating, “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away.” We send our deepest sympathies to her mother Poojaji and the whole family. Suhani is such a gifted young woman and a great team player that Dangal wouldn’t have been the same without her. You will always be a star in our hearts, Suhani. I hope you find tranquilly while you slumber.

Suhani’s performance in Dangal captivated hearts. Bhatnagar did not do many TV ads after her role in Dangal; instead, she concentrated on her education. She didn’t use social media very much either. Suhani published a few selfies on her Instagram site in November 2021, which was her most recent post. On the picture and video-sharing app, she maintains a 20.9K-strong following. Suhani has also uploaded a tonne of photos of herself with her “Dangal” co-stars.

Concerning Dangal

The biographical sports drama film, which was produced and directed by Aamir Khan and Nitesh Tiwari, was released in 2016. The journeys of renowned female wrestlers Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat are shown in the movie. Zaira Wasim and Suhani Bhatnagar played the younger versions of the two Phogat sisters, while Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra represented their elder selves.
