Aamir Khan pays a condolence call to the family of the late Dangal star Suhani Bhatnagar in Faridabad

Following the tragic death of late star Suhani Bhatnagar, actor Aamir Khan sent his deepest sympathies and solidarity to her family on Thursday in Faridabad. Suhani, who rose to prominence in the hit film Dangal for her role as a young Babita Phogat, died last Friday at the age of 19, from dermatomyositis, an uncommon inflammatory illness that results in muscular paralysis and skin rash.

“Her lungs got damaged due to an infection and accumulation of excess fluid,” Suhani’s father Sumit Bhatnagar told PTI after her passing.

Around six o’clock at night, Aamir Khan, who was devastated by the terrible news, went to see Suhani’s parents and other family members to offer his condolences and ask about her condition. Aamir Khan’s visit was verified by Suhani’s uncle, Navneet Bhatnagar, who further emphasized the actor’s sincere care for the family at this trying time. Khan had the chance to console and assist Suhani’s bereaved parents throughout the meeting.

Following Suhani’s loss, a statement from Aamir Khan’s production company expressed their profound sadness. “We are deeply saddened to hear about our Suhani passing away,” the message said. We send our deepest sympathies to her mother Poojaji and the whole family. Suhani is such a gifted young woman and a great team player; Dangal wouldn’t have been the same without her. Ira Khan, Aamir Khan’s daughter, also responded to the devastating news by sadly saying, “Oh no!!!”

In an interview with E24, Suhani’s mother spoke about the unique affinity that Suhani and Aamir Khan had. “She has always been in contact with Aamir Sir.” He is a kind individual. We never told him about this. In actuality, we kept it a secret. This really upset us,” she said. She continued, praising Aamir Khan for his kindness, saying, “He would have responded to our letter right away. In fact, he invited us to his daughter’s wedding as well. Indeed, he personally invited us to share on his special day.

Suhani’s mother also expressed her pride in her daughter’s accomplishments, saying, “She was doing really well in college; she even finished first in the last semester.” She was very talented in anything she attempted and aspired to be the best at anything. Our daughter has indeed brought us much joy.

When the 19-year-old starlet said goodbye to her loved ones on February 16, it left a vacuum in their hearts. The actor was hospitalized to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences on February 7.

I hope her soul finds peace.
