Arbaaz Khan Says, “Koi Favour Nahi,” That He and Sohail Don’t Have Salman Khan’s Level of Success, But They Still Work

Salman Khan’s brother and renowned screenwriter Salim Khan’s son, Arbaaz Khan, has spoken out against nepotism in Bollywood. He said having family ties might be beneficial at first, but it won’t ensure long-term success in the field.

“Kuch darwaze zarur khulte hain agar aapke father kisi profession mein hain, as is the case in any field,” Arbaaz said, appearing on the Timeout With Ankit podcast alongside his younger brother Sohail Khan. (A few doors will certainly open for you if your father belongs to a certain field, similar to any other field.).

You will have access to people in the medical and legal fields if your father practices such fields. In a similar vein, we performers might meet people in the business if we so desired. It is easier to meet someone if your father works in the sector, but it does not guarantee employment. Kisi se mila aasan ho jata hai par uski wajah se kaam milna woh zaroori nahi hai.

It won’t guarantee a lengthy career, according to Arbaaz, but it may offer a start. In addition, he spoke about how hard he and his brother Sohail are working despite not being as successful as Salman. “A career lasts for 25 years; it might give you a break, but it won’t build your career.”

Even if Salman Khan, our brother, and other celebrities have achieved more success than Sohail and I have, we are still here. We are occupied with work and other activities. Nobody performs favors for others; everyone does their own thing. Saying that an actor’s success is the result of their connections or nepotism would be unjust. Even Hollywood celebrities have periods when they have ten box office failures and are at a loss for what to do. Then, how can they assist or favor you? After a while, everyone is on their own, he said.

Salman will begin work on Sher Khan early next year, according to Sohail Khan.
