Bosco Martis commends Akshay Kumar for his commitment, stating, “He was dancing in 4 degrees of temperature even though he had 102 fever.”

In a recent interview, choreographer Bosco Martis—who is renowned for creating classic dance sequences with the greatest names in Bollywood—spoke candidly about the work ethics of Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, and Akshay Kumar. He gave insights on the commitment and expertise shown in their approach to working on the sets, particularly while the dancing scenes were being shot. He denied the gossip that Salman was not a dedicated worker and complimented Shah Rukh on his dedication to his craft. He also discussed Akshay’s reputation for not extending work hours and complimented the actor on his unwavering punctuality in finishing the film.

Bosco shared a wealth of knowledge on Akshay’s unmatched commitment on the sets of the next movie “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” having choreographed four songs for it. Bosco disclosed to Siddharth Kannan during an interview that Akshay was suffering from a fever the whole time. “He’s a pleasure to work with,” he said. When collaborating with him, he provides excellent recommendations. I don’t always listen to them, but sometimes I do. I don’t always have to, but sometimes I do.
He continued, saying, “He works eight hours straight, and he stays on the set the whole time. “Please let me go,” he pleads to me. Do your children not also belong to me? However, his sitting and working poses are when he really shines. For the Jordan shoot, he was not feeling well. He hadn’t practiced and wasn’t feeling good. Despite having a temperature of 101–102, he was dancing. There was not a pause. We recorded four tracks consecutively at four different temperatures. Dancers needed special caution because of the wind cold. It was simply Akshay Sir. He was obviously sick with a cold. However, woh faulaad hai (he’s a steel guy).
Bosco further said that Akshay and co-star Tiger Shroff would often play games for prizes of Rs 10. “After dancing in the evenings, he would go play volleyball,” he claimed. He would invite the rest of us, who were all exhausted from our rooms, to play volleyball. He energizes the set and brings the staff together.
“Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” which was directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Alaya F, and Manushi Chhillar. The movie will be released in cinemas on Eid.
