Day one box office receipts for Dunki: Shah Rukh Khan’s movie brings in ₹30 crore, which is his lowest opening of the year

Day one box office receipts for Dunki: Under Rajkumar Hirani’s direction, the movie opened in theaters on Thursday. The movie is off to a strong start at the domestic box office, according to Sacnilk.com.

Dunki India’s box office earnings
The article claims that on its first day in India, Dunki made ₹30 crore net in all languages. This is Shah Rukh Khan’s lowest-grossing film debut of the year. While Jawan’s movie Pathaan made ₹57 crore on its first day of release, according to Sacnilk.com, Jawan made ₹89.5 crore.

Dunki evaluation
“SRK is the star attraction in Dunki and the film presents him in an avatar that we have seen earlier as well, in fact, multiple times over,” the Hindustan Times said in its review of the movie. He is charming and pleasant as the young, clean-shaven hero who falls in love with the first female he meets in Punjab, where he had traveled in search of love. However, in the second part of the novel, as his stubble develops and the group travels through some of the most treacherous trails and routes imaginable, he improves. Khan never fails to enchant you, whether they are traveling through Iran’s deserts or the snow-capped mountains at their next stop.”

After Dunki’s release, fans rejoiced.
Drumbeats, dancing, and confetti were heard when the movie premiered in theaters on Thursday morning to mixed reviews from reviewers and a lot of enthusiasm from his fan base. Following the huge successes of Pathaan and Jawan, Shah Rukh is starring in his third movie of the year, Dunki. The much-discussed movie, which is billed as a comedic drama centered on illegal immigration, didn’t wow many reviewers, and the hype didn’t quite match that of Shah Rukh’s last two releases.

Early morning performances took place in many regions of the nation, such as Udaipur, Mumbai, and Jammu. While some fans in Guwahati celebrated the release of Dunki by cutting a cake, others in Kolkata were seen garlanding and dousing big cutouts of Shah Rukh with milk. Shah Rukh’s fan group organized the “first ever 5.55 am” showing at Mumbai’s Gaiety Cinema.

Concerning Dunki
In addition to Shah Rukh, Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochhar, and Anil Grover also feature in the movie. Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire, a historical action drama starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, opens on Friday, and will compete with the movie as well. At the global box office, Pathaan and Jawan brought in over ₹1,000 crore each, and they are recognized for having revived the flagging Hindi film exhibition industry.
