Dia Mirza’s heartfelt birthday greeting to her stepdaughter Samaira Rekhi look within

Recognised for her kind and grounded demeanour, Dia Mirza married businessman Vaibhav Rekhi in 2021. Dia sent her stepdaughter Samaira Rekhi a sweet birthday message on Instagram earlier this afternoon. Samaira is the child of Vaibhav’s first marriage to Sunaina.

Additionally, Avyaan Azaad Rekhi, Dia and Vaibhav’s son, was born in 2021.
Dia posted sweet photos of herself with her stepdaughter on Instagram with the message, “Happy 15th birthday, baby girl.”

I will always keep your heart close to my heart.” In the first picture, Dia and Samaira are seen smiling together in a sun-kissed selfie while wearing white clothing. With the addition of a Pahadi hat to her ensemble, Dia created a cute and poignant moment.

In an earlier interview with ETimes, Dia discussed how women are portrayed in Bollywood. According to her own experience as a professional actress, there has been a noticeable change in how women are portrayed in Bollywood films over the years. More varied and nuanced female characters, like Kainaaz in “Kaafir,” have been made possible by the rise of the OTT period, defying conventional preconceptions. Although I am appreciative of the chance to portray a variety of parts, I look forward to the day when female-led films are no longer referred to as “women-centric” but rather as the standard.”

Dia discussed the difficulties faced by female actresses, saying, “Women still struggle in the Indian cinema business to establish their agency and portray tales from their viewpoint. Nonetheless, more inclusive tales are becoming possible due to the growing number of female directors, producers, and writers. Anubhav Sinha and other directors are fearless in questioning gender stereotypes, which fosters a vibrant atmosphere for tales featuring women.
Dia recently appeared with Ratna Pathak Shah, Sanjana Sanghi, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the road drama Dhak Dhak, which was about coming of age.
