Upal has a natural talent for painting since he was young. “The floorboards of the Howrah mansion where we formerly resided were crimson. Thus, using chalk to scribble on the red floor was my favorite past time. I was never good at studying, so I used to sketch before writing ABCD,” he said.yet had a strong passion for art. Thus, my father helped me get accepted to Art College, where I gradually became interested in cartoon drawing.

Upla said, “My drawing/painting pattern is more illustrative,” in reference to his works. I created a series using only blue poster paint. I sometimes really like working with dry pastels. However, I also draw digitally these days.

Cartoons by Sergio Aragonés are well recognized. With only one cartoon, he can convey a narrative. That’s the reason I adore his works.
