Jaya Bachchan Isn’t Concerned About Her-Related Memes: “Bitter People: Badly Mimicking Anyone”

Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda spoke about social media trolling with her mother Shweta Bachchan and grandmother Jaya Bachchan in the most recent edition of her podcast, What The Hell Navya. According to Jaya Bachchan, she isn’t bothered by the memes produced about her since those who troll others are resentful. According to Shweta, celebrities must to speak out against cancel culture.

“Those people don’t have an identity; they are bitter people,” said Jaya Bachchan. If you’re brave enough, speak out about real problems and reveal your identities. In response to the memes produced about her, Jaya said that she “doesn’t care” and questioned, “What kind of pleasure are you getting by mimicking anyone badly?”

According to Shweta Bachchan, public figures shouldn’t be scared to criticize others. “Turn around and say, ‘Don’t follow me if you have a problem,'” she advised. Return it. People will think, “We can say whatever we want to this famous person and they have nothing to say back,” if you remain silent and simply let things happen. People are no longer responding in a genuine way because you’re always scared about being trolling. You are not allowed to say that or this.

“It was quite simple in our time,” Shweta said. It was much simpler to be yourself, even if I’m not claiming that incorrect labels weren’t applied. Nobody likes to be canceled these days. “If a celebrity is trolled or canceled, they will apologize and retract their initial statement or viewpoint,” she continued. That only keeps things going. You’re not even willing to have a conversation.

For those who don’t know, Navya Nanda launched her podcast, “What The Hell Navya,” on YouTube in 2002. She discusses the problems women in society confront in her podcast with mom Shweta and grandma Jaya Bachchan. You may watch the episodes on Navya’s YouTube channel. Bumble India provided support for the podcast, which was produced by IVM Podcasts.
