Meet Arjun Kapoor, the “shaitaan” of Rohit Shetty’s police drama, Singham Again

It’s not time for Rohit Shetty to give the audience a breather. The news that yet another actor would be entering the series has increased anticipation for his next movie, “Singham Again.” Rumor had it that Arjun Kapoor would feature in Rohit Shetty’s world of policemen, but not as a police officer wearing the Khaki Vardi uniform—rather, he would be the reason why all the cops had nightmares. Arjun Kapoor has now been confirmed by Rohit Shetty to play the “shaitaan” (demon) in his police drama.

Rohit posted images of Arjun Kapoor’s antagonistic appearance on Instagram for his police drama. In the post’s first image, Arjun is shown with a lethal weapon in his hand, a malicious grin, and blood all over him. The second image shows Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor, two of the film industry’s greatest friends, competing against one other. Rohit commented, “Insaan galati karta hai, aur usse uski saza bhi milti hai…,” underneath the poster.Shaitaan hai, lekin ab jo aayega! I’d like to present Arjun Kapoor.

In an interview, Earling’s father Boney Kapoor mentioned his impending projects, saying, “There are several things lined up (for Arjun), and he is happy about those subjects.” He is about to be characterized in a very different way. Rohit Shetty debuted in a movie as the lone villain alongside Ajay Devgn. In the movie are Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar as well. Once More, It’s Singham (Singham 3). This is the first time Arjun has portrayed an adversary. See where the movie leads him, please.”

On September 16, Singham returned to the floors alongside Ajay and Ranveer. Rohit shared photos from the muhurat puja and commented, “Sooryavanshi, Simmba, Singham, Singham returns…When we created Singham twelve years ago, we had no idea it would become a cop universe! We are now shooting Singham Again, which is the fifth installment in our police franchise. HOWEVER, JAAN LAGA DENGE! DUA KI ZAROORAT HAI BAS AAPKE PYAAR AUR DUA! (We’ll do our best; kindly show us your love and blessings).”

On July 4, 2024, Singham Again is slated for release in theaters. For more information on the police drama and everything else going on in the glitzy town, check out midday.com.
