Day 22 Box Office Collection for Animal: Ranbir Kapoor’s Movie Is Still Performing Well

New Delhi: The box office receipts for Animal are gradually dropping with the release of Prabhas’ Salaar: Part 1-Ceasefire and Shah Rukh Khan’s Dunki. According to a Sacnilk report, on day 22, the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed movie took in ₹ 1.15 crore (across all languages). With its intense action sequences and nuanced portrayal of a father-son bond, the movie has made ₹ 532.44 crore domestically overall. Along with the romance between Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna, fans have also lavished love on Triptii Dimri, who portrayed Zoya, and antagonist Bobby Deol, who played Abrar Haque.

Even though Animal did quite well at the box office, some viewers were not happy with a scene in the movie and questioned the character played by Ranbir Kapoor, who had an extramarital romance with Zoya. The worries expressed over a particular scene in which Ranvijay begs his wife Geetanjali (Rashmika) not to be married again if he doesn’t return have lately been addressed by the film’s director, Sandeep Reddy Vanga.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga told Galatta Plus that “most of the time, you’re done in relationships” in reaction to the criticism. It could be a tendency to have many relationships. You are done for life as soon as you share your affection with only one person. That could be what Geetanjali and Ranvijay were saying. Knowing Geetanjali’s mindset, he must have believed that she couldn’t succeed in a relationship with anybody else and that it would be best for her to be alone since there are a lot of things in relationships that are spoken but not done.

“He desires that his children not witness Geetanjali with a different father. It’s entirely personal and has nothing to do with a generalized sentiment, Sandeep Reddy Vanga said.

“Animal is the kind of film that would have us believe that it is no big deal for a loving son to go berserk when it comes to tackling those who threaten the well-being of his dad and his two sisters,” said Saibal Chatterjee in his review, awarding the movie 1.5 stars. He is free to be as naughty as he pleases since the family appears to be in danger all the time.
