Parineeti Chopra discusses the unique song she wrote for her husband Raghav Chadha on their wedding day

On their wedding day, Jackky Bhagnani, who wed Rakul Preet Singh on February 21, dedicated a brand-new song to his spouse. Parineeti Chopra sang a recently created song last year, dedicating it to her spouse, lawmaker Raghav Chadha. On September 24, the song “O Piya” was performed during their varmala ceremony.

Parineeti tells us, “Raghav and I bonded over music, I sing and have access to people from the industry like music composers, music directors, so I wanted to do something very special and unique at the wedding.” Parineeti is reflecting on the surprise present she arranged for her husband. That song is one I wrote, and Raghav was very surprised by it.
The actress, who last appeared with Akshay Kumar in Mission Raniganj, said, “That song played for the first time as I went down the aisle. Thus, it was the first time that any of the guests—including Raghav—had listened to it. We shall always remember that unique occasion. There is nothing that can take it away from us; it is ours.

The popularity of the song was the greatest surprise. We had no idea that it would become a standard wedding song and be used in many weddings. That was beyond our wildest expectations. I intended to write the song just for Raghav and myself, but it ended up being played at a lot of weddings, which is a plus in my book.
Recently, Parineeti performed live for the first time. The actress is now eager to take her live performance career seriously. She expressed her passion of music by saying, “I sing, I hum, and I talk about music all the time.” I’m always surrounded by music!
