Priyanka Chopra, Miss World 2024, praises Nita Ambani while receiving the “Beauty With a Purpose Humanitarian Award.”

After 28 years, India hosted the Miss World pageant in Mumbai. Nita Ambani, the chairperson of the Reliance Foundation, received the “Beauty with a Purpose Humanitarian Award” during the event on Saturday night. She received recognition for her charitable contributions and an award. Global superstar Priyanka Chopra, the 2000 Miss World winner, paid tribute to Nita Ambani’s contributions with a unique pre-recorded video message that was shown on screen throughout the occasion.

The ‘Fashion’ star said in the statement, “I have had the honor and luxury of knowing the great Mrs. Nita Ambani for a few years now. I appreciate and adore her for all that she does. I’ve seen firsthand her enthusiasm, dedication, and meticulous attention to detail in all she does, as well as what goes on behind the scenes. I believe Nita Ma’am embodies everything Mrs. Morley attempted to impart to our impressionable brains at the time. I have seen Nita Ma’am’s tremendous influence throughout the years in all of her pursuits. She is an honorable entrepreneur, philanthropist, and educator, in addition to being a fervent supporter and guardian of Indian arts.”

She went on, “She has continuously elevated India’s art and culture to a worldwide level with the greatest passion. With a lovely grin and so much compassion, Nita ma’am wears all of these hats and more. Her path is the perfect example of beauty with a purpose. As we honor Nita ma’am this evening, let us honor not just her achievements but also the happiness, empowerment, and development she has provided to many people.”

She has been a real pioneer, and from what I’ve seen, she won’t be quitting anytime soon. Personally, I’m eager to see what else she has in store for us. The actor went on, “Congratulations, Nita ma’am. Truly well deserved.”

Priyanka said in her letter, “Due to my personal circumstances, the term ‘purpose’ has always had a great deal of value for me. As a child, I saw my parents, Dr. Madhu Chopra and my dad, not only fulfill their responsibilities as physicians in the Indian Army and take care of us, but also use their position, expertise, and abilities to assist people in need. I recall the many hours my brother and I spent with them when they used their days off to provide good medical treatment to individuals who couldn’t afford it. I now count myself among the extremely privileged to be surrounded by women who have reinvented the very essence of what it is to be a woman. Their potential to transform the world, their beauty, and their strength.”

Priyanka ended her speech with a strong message: “To all the women, young girls out here today and those girls watching across the world, I will leave you with one thought: In this crazy world we live in together, there’s no better legacy than leaving behind a world touched by love and kindness.”

The 71st Miss World pageant was won by Krystyna Pyszkova of the Czech Republic.
