In the Citadel universe, Samantha Ruth Prabhu has announced that she would portray Priyanka Chopra’s mother. Samantha will appear in the Indian counterpart of the series, which is being led by Priyanka in the foundation version.
Samantha confirmed, as E-Times reported, that she would play the mother of the role that Priyanka Chopra is portraying in Citadel India when they went out to Samantha about it.
The entertainment site said that it would just be a “technicality,” nevertheless. “Citadel is set in two distinct periods in both the international and Indian versions. In Samantha’s Citadel, Priyanka’s persona is a little kid. Saying Tabu portrayed Irrfan Khan’s mother in Life of Pi is analogous. They weren’t even together throughout the filming, according to an insider. It should be emphasized, however, that Citadel’s creators have not yet responded to the allegations.
In the meanwhile, Rahi Gambhir, the father of Priyanka’s character Nadia, calls her in Citadel’s fifth episode. It quickly becomes clear who the caller is. It became more obvious that Varun Dhawan was playing Rahi as the sequence progressed.
Samantha Ruth Prabhu and Varun Dhawan will star in Citadel India, which will be directed by Raj and DK, the makers of The Family Man.
