Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Khaaani Earns Rs 73 Cr in a Week at the Box Office, Directed by Karan Johar

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar, has earned over Rs 70 crore at the box office in only one week after its debut. The movie, which co-stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, is very popular with viewers.

Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani had a little decline on Thursday, the seventh day after its debut, according to the industry tracker. It brought in Rs 6.25 crore nationwide. With this, RRKPK’s first-week revenue is currently at Rs 73.37 crore.

The film directed by Karan Johar now has the sixth-highest week-one box office total in 2023. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan, which earned Rs 378.15 crore, is in first place, followed by Adipurush (Rs 121.15 crore). The Kerala Story, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar are also on the list with respective first-week gross sums of Rs 81.14 crore, Rs 92.84 crore, and Rs 92.21 crore.

At the box office, RRKPK is now probably going to surpass the $100 million milestone shortly. It should be emphasized that the movie has no rivals in week two at the box office. Only two large films, Gadar 2 and OMG 2, which are expected to have an influence on RRKPK’s box office success, will be released on August 11.

Regarding Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, in addition to Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in the major parts, the movie also has seasoned performers Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra in significant roles. Tota Roy Chowdhury, Ronit Roy, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, and Kshitee Jog are among the supporting players. Sara Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday, Varun Dhawan, and Varun Dhawan all had cameo appearances in the film. After seven years after the release of Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, the movie represents Karan Johar’s return to directing.

To commemorate the movie’s success, Karan Johar and the cast hosted a press conference in Mumbai on Thursday. KJo had before appeared with Ranveer and Alia when they startled spectators in a Mumbai theater.
