Sean Combs Faces His Second Weekly Sexual Assault Lawsuit

For the second time in a week, rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs has been sued for alleged sexual assault.

Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a case in the New York Supreme Court on Wednesday, claiming that the record mogul and rapper had drugged and sexually abused her in 1991 and has since produced “revenge porn”.

According to Deadline.com, she says she has “substantial and lifetime injuries”.

Dickerson-Neal was a student at Syracuse University when the alleged attack occurred. Her short appearance in a Combs music video was noted. She claims that during their dinner date in Harlem, she was “intentionally drugged” since she didn’t watch over her drink. According to the lawsuit, the consequences left her “in a physical state where she could not independently stand or walk.”

They fled in Combs’ vehicle, the suit further claims.

“Driving first to a music studio where she could not get out of the car, Combs proceeded to a place he was staying to sexually assault her,” according to the lawsuit. “Because she had been drugged, Plaintiff lacked the physical ability or mental capacity to fend Combs off,” the complaint claims.

Media sources were informed by a Combs spokeswoman that the woman’s claims are “made up and not credible” and are “purely a money grab.”

The lawsuit arises under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, which gives victims of sexual assault a one-year window to make legal claims, regardless of the statute of limitations. It also names Bad Boy Entertainment and other Combs firms. On Thursday, that window closed.

As the ASA deadline drew closer, several more men—including Marcellus Wiley, Sebastian Chacon, Jamie Foxx, Axl Rose, and Cuba Gooding Jr.—were sued for alleged sexual assault this week.

“This last-minute lawsuit is an example of how a well-intentioned law can be turned on its head,” a spokeswoman said. “Combs never assaulted her, and she implicates companies that did not exist,” says the statement.

Cassandra Ventura, better known as Cassie, the rapper’s former longterm girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against Combs last week, alleging severe physical and psychological abuse as well as rape. Less than twenty-four hours after the lawsuit was filed, it was resolved out of court.
