Sonakshi Sinha says directors are “free to go to someone else,” revealing that she is uncomfortable with intimate scenes

Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s first web series, made its Netflix premiere on May 1. One thing that has always been praised is the wide variety of roles that the performers have played. Sonakshi Sinha, who is portraying Fareedan, is especially noteworthy for the way she portrayed a complicated and multifaceted character. She is mostly seen as a bad person with a troubled history. Sonakshi said in a recent interview that she feels uncomfortable with kissing sequences and spoke candidly about the sort of job she wants to perform.

Sonakshi said, “I’m on my 35th film right now and I still stand there!” in an interview with E-Times. A talented actor will never become unemployed. I don’t believe I have missed any kissing or personal scene-filled moments in my whole career.

“This is something I’m not comfortable doing,” she said. I’ve always made that known to my director and the filmmaker I’m working withh.”. All of that is up to you. You are free to choose someone else who feels comfortable performing that role if you still want to go on with me and believe that, as an actor, I could provide something. I will still work on the movie, but we can find a solution.

Recently, Sonakshi spoke candidly about her previous professional decisions in an interview. She said, “You have a responsibility as an artist,” in an interview with Zoom TV. You’re an inspiration to a lot of people. I firmly believe that, despite my youth, I had the chance to participate in a number of very significant motion pictures. At that moment, no one in their right mind could have said no. I completed them, but even then, certain things seemed strange. As you develop, others become aware of it, discuss it, and bring it to your awareness. Although it is criticism, it is constructive.

Heeramandi, which is set against the background of India’s independence movement, chronicles the tale of a few Lahori courtesans while touching on themes of freedom and love. Apart from Sonakshi, the Netflix series has noteworthy parts from Richa Chadha, Aditi Rao Hydari, Manisha Koirala, Sanjeeda Sheikh, and Sharmin Segal.

Sonakshi Sinha’s next film is Kakuda, directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Riteish Deshmukh and Saqib Saleem will also play important roles in this horror comedy.
