Tango for two

Actress Emily Blunt is now negotiating to be in Dwyane Johnson’s next movie, The Smashing Machine. The Academy Award-nominated actress will play the new wife of renowned mixed martial artist Mark Kerr, Dawn Staples.

The narrative centers on Dawn’s attempts to establish a life with the champion while attempting to find her place in his turbulent and conflicting universe.

Based on Kerr’s life story, a great mixed martial artist from the UFC’s no-holds-barred era, comes the thriller The Smashing Machine. He battles with friendship, relationships, winning, and drug misuse in this 2000-set story. In addition to winning the 1992 NCAA National Wrestling Championship, the 1994 National Freestyle Championship, the Pride FC Heavyweight Championship, the World Vale Tudo Championship tournament, and the UFC Heavyweight Tournament thrice, Kerr also has four ADCC World Submission Championship titles. The Smashing Machine, a 2003 documentary, likewise focused on the mixed martial arts fighter. Benny Safdie, director of Heaven Knows What, Good Time, and Uncut Gems, is directing this movie.
