Shah Rukh Khan said that he received an opportunity to play the host in the Academy Award–winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. When the actor revealed that Danny Boyle had given him the role, he spoke candidly about working in Hollywood at the World Government Summit 2024 in Dubai. It so happened that Danny Boyle offered SRK the part when he was presenting Who Wants to be a Millionaire, also known as Kaun Banega Crorepati, in India.
