What do you believe will make this movie stand out in the sea of OTT material now available, and why should people watch this movie?

I feel that “Tarla” is a breath of fresh air among all the dark, suspenseful thrillers that are now streaming across practically all platforms. The whole family may enjoy watching this heartwarming, uplifting movie together.

What did you learn or what did you take away most from “Tarla”?

that nothing can stop you if you’ve discovered your calling and are prepared to follow it.

‘Kuch karne ki recipe’ is the film’s central theme. Have you had trouble finding your “kuch” in life? How did you get to the kuch?

Oh, I really battled. At the age of 33, I discovered the ‘kuch’ (acting) of my life. Although I had a sneaking suspicion, I was also terrified and apprehensive—frightened to fail, fearful that others would criticise me, and afraid of my looks. I was also worried about the financial disaster that would result if I pursued acting, but one day I made the decision that I had to give it my all at least once in order to avoid regretting not even trying.
