There were friends who were horrified when Karan Johar revealed that he had purchased bras for his mother

According to Karan Johar, he purchased bras for his mother. The renowned director was discussing his most recent film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, when he was questioned about the bra scene. For those who are unfamiliar, Rocky (Ranveer Singh) is taken lingerie shopping by Rani’s mother (Churni Ganguly) in RRKPK. Rani’s mother delivers an emotional speech as he starts to feel uncomfortable.

Karan was questioned whether he had ever purchased a bra in reference to the incident. The filmmaker said that he had purchased bras for his mother, and that his friends were “mortified” by the sight.

“My mother, who is quite progressive, reared me as the only kid. The subject was never off-limits. It has never bothered me when I have gone bra shopping for her. However, I am aware that while I was doing it, several of my friends were shocked that I was really doing it and puzzled as to why I hadn’t assigned this task to a female friend of mine. And I said, “Why?” My mother has wondered why I’m sending someone else to handle it, he stated during the news conference.

“For me, that felt organic also because I knew there is a discomfort around it,” the speaker said.

Aur Rani Kii, Rocky Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt are the stars of the movie Prem Kahaani. Veteran performers like Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan also play significant parts in the movie. It also has supporting performers who are garnering attention for their work, such as Tota Roy Chowdhury, Ronit Roy, Saswata Chatterjee, Karmveer Choudhary, and Kshitee Jog.
