This Miss World, who is now an actress in Bollywood, was studying medicine

The Indian Miss Universe and World winners have had their fair share of celebrity in Bollywood. Manushi Chillar, an Indian who won the title last year and was named Miss World in 2017, is on the list.

In 2017, Manushi Chillar followed in the footsteps of Aishwarya Rai and Priyanka Chopra to become the sixth beauty queen from India to win the title of Miss World. Prior to pursuing a career in acting and modeling, Manushi made significant contributions to medicine. She passed the All India Pre-Medical Test (now called NEET) on her first try. She was pursuing her medical degree at the Bhagat Phool Singh Medical College in Sonipat.

The 27-year-old model actress debuted in the movie business in 2022 with the release of Samrat Prithviraj. In the movie, she had the opportunity to appear on screen with Akshay Kumar as Princess Sanyogita. The movie, which reportedly cost less than Rs 220 crore to make, did poorly at the box office. Chandraprakash Dwivedi wrote the script and directed it.

In the film The Great Indian Family, which is her second Bollywood release, she plays Jasmeet Kaur Randhawa. Vicky Kaushal starred in the Vijay Krishna Acharya-directed movie, which also starred Manushi Chillar, Manoj Pahwa, and Kumud Mishra. It was filmed by Aditya Chopra under the aegis of Yash Raj Films. After its premiere, the movie bombed at the box office.

Operation Valentine and Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and two of Manushi Chillar’s later releases were also commercial failures. Manushi appeared with Tiger Shroff and Akshay Kumar in the later release. The movie was reportedly produced on a Rs 350 crore budget.

The actress is now shooting Tehran, her fourth movie, which is described as an action thriller. Starring in the movie are Madhurima Tuli, Neeru Bajwa, Manushi Chhillar, and John Abraham. Arun Gopalan is the director, while Dinesh Vijan is the producer.
