‘Keedaa Cola’ by Rana Daggubati Is An Exciting, Chaotic, Rollercoaster Ride
The trailer for Telugu star Rana Daggubati’s newest film, “Keedaa Cola,” has been out. It is a fun-filled, chaotic rollercoaster trip.
The trailer, which was written and directed by Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, combines gore, crime-thriller, and drama themes with some dark humor that is highly tongue-in-cheek.
The movie’s producer, Rana Daggubati, first debuted the trailer on his Instagram Stories, after which it was also made available on YouTube.
The main protagonists of the novel are a variety of people who, in spite of their stark differences, are somehow brought together by a voyage that involves some of them in an oddly gloomy yet comic cycle of drama.
This unforeseen turn of events results in something for which nobody was truly prepared. A corporator thug named Jeevan gets humiliated by another corporator thug in the trailer. After being freed from prison, a furious Jeevan tries to seek brutal retribution.
On the other hand, a couple of folks who are on the verge of bankruptcy are attempting to earn quick cash by stuffing a cockroach inside a Coca-Cola bottle.
Unknown as to why this ludicrous choice was made, the movie’s trailer demonstrates the movie’s high degree of self-awareness.
The film’s writer and director, Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam, seems to have done this on purpose since the characters discuss the ridiculousness of the situation even in the trailer, which has a strong humorous impact.
On the other side, ‘Keedaa Cola’ also has a lot of violence and morbidity and doesn’t hold back in any department.
There is a filthy criminal underbelly here, and the humor doesn’t actually lessen how dangerous they are.
Boasting extremely high production values, there is obviously an intentional use of slow-mo in a traditional Western way, even if there isn’t a lot of glamor. However, rather than being a style decision, the use of slow-mo for action is utilized more out of a very funny self-aware parody.
On November 3, 2023, the film, which also stars Brahmanandam, Chaitanya Rao, Rag Mayur, Vishnu Oi, Raghu Ram, Jeevan Kumar, and Tharun Bhascke, will be released in theaters.
