This Week’s OTT Releases: As OTT platforms have grown in popularity over the years, they have altered the way that people view movies. With just one click, people may now view their favorite films and TV shows whenever and wherever they choose. Every week, massive streaming services like Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, Zee5, and others release new content in a variety of genres and for a wide range of viewers. We’ve put together a list of web series and films that are coming out on OTT platforms this week in case you want to expand the selection of entertainment on your watchlist.
1. Echo
The protagonist of “Echo” is Maya, who goes back to her homeland and embraces her community in order to reestablish her Native American heritage. Alaqua Cox plays Echo/Maya in the episode, while Vincent D’Onofrio as Kingpin. In the series, Charlie Cox will play Daredevil once again. Key players to watch out for include Chaske Spencer, Tantoo Cardinal, Graham Greene, Cody Lightning, Devery Jacobs, and Zahn McClarnon. Disney+ Hotstar will host its release on January 11, 2024.
2. Killer Soup
The main character of “Killer Soup” is Swathi Shetty, an aspirational but untalented home cook who devises a scheme to have her boyfriend, Umesh, take the place of her husband, Prabhakar. Her strategy backfires, creating a disorganized state of affairs. In addition to Nasser, Sayaji Shinde, Lal, Anbuthasan, Anula Navlekar, and Kani Kusruti playing important parts, the series stars Manoj Bajpayee and Konkona Sensharma in the key roles. Netflix will debut “Killer Soup” on January 11, 2024.
3. Kotabommali PS
The main character of “Kotabommali PS” is a police officer who is set up by a politician for a crime he did not commit. In the major parts of the film are Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Rahul Vijay, Srikanth, and Shivani Rajashekar. On Aha, it will be available from January 11, 2024.
4. Mission Impossible 7
The film “Mission Impossible 7” centers on Ethan Hunt and his IMF team as they set out on their riskiest assignment yet: finding a terrible new weapon that poses a threat to civilization. It will debut on January 11, 2024 on Prime Video.
5. Extra Ordinary Man
The main character of “Extra Ordinary Man” is Abhi, who has been interested in performing since he was a little boy. After growing up, he becomes a junior artist, and when he falls in love with Likitha, the MD of a corporation, his actual life and reel start to blend together. In the major characters of the film are Nithin, Rohini, Sree Leela, Rao Ramesh, Sudev Nair, and Rajashekhar. Netflix will start streaming it on January 12, 2024.
6. Killers of the Flower Moon
The main character of “Killers of the Flower Moon” is Osage Nation member Mollie Burkhart, who works to protect her village from killings brought on by greed and oil. January 12 is when Apple TV+ will debut it.
7. The Legend of Hanuman Season 3
The stories of Lord Hanuman and how he came to represent hope in the midst of darkness are the central theme of “The Legends of Hanuman.” The show depicts how Lord Mahadev takes on the form of Hanuman in order to assist God Rama. On January 12, 2024, the animated series will debut on Disney+ Hotstar.
8. The Kerala Story
Adah Sharma, Yogita Bihani, Sonia Balani, and Siddhi Idnani play the key parts in “The Kerala Story.” Zee5 is scheduled to premiere the film on January 12, 2024.
