Shahid Kapoor worked as a background dancer before to beginning his acting career in Hindi film. He appeared in a number of popular Bollywood songs, including Kahin Aag Lage Lag Jaave by Aishwarya Rai and Le Gayi by Karisma Kapoor. Shahid recently said that he was anxious when filming the song Le Gayi from the movie Dil Toh Pagal Hai, recalling his earlier days. Shahid spoke about a scene from the filming that upset Karisma when speaking with a media outlet. He said that because of his anxiety, he was forgetting the instructions. Karisma was really irate since she had to perform the song 15 times as a consequence.
There was one somewhat odd individual, Shahid remembered. That’s me, I promise, with the incredibly long hair on his head. Because of me, Karisma had to perform 15 retakes.
