1. Taking a bath right after breakfast

The majority of us have one of the most harmful routines: we take a bath just after eating breakfast. Dr. Yogendra asserts that taking a bath just after breakfast weakens your digestive fire. The lack of “Jatharagni,” or the digestive fire, can slow down digestion and weaken your body, according to Ayurveda.

2. Late Breakfast

Eating a late breakfast is another habit that is bad for our general health. Dr. Yogendra advises eating breakfast within two hours after waking up. Breakfast must be had before 9 AM since, after an overnight fast, the body need both food and water when you awaken. As a result, eating breakfast early may help the body feel less stressed, but eating breakfast later may make the body feel more stressed. It’s crucial to realize that there should be at least 12 hours between breakfast and supper.

3. Leaving Out Breakfast

Most of us often miss breakfast because of our busy schedules in favor of finishing other daily tasks. Some individuals opt to forgo breakfast since they do not feel hungry in the morning hours. A person’s blood sugar levels and mood may both be impacted by skipping breakfast, which can also cause a decline in blood sugar levels. According to several studies, missing breakfast increases the chance of developing type 2 diabetes, hypertension, high blood pressure, and a number of other ailments.

4. Small Meals

We often take tiny quantities of food in the morning while we are rushed. The body might be deprived of vital nutrients that it need each day to operate correctly if it consumes too little food. This may also result in other uncomfortable symptoms like exhaustion and drowsiness. For this reason, health professionals advise eating a hearty breakfast to refuel the body with essential nutrients.
