In Singapore, an Indian cook was imprisoned after molesting two adolescent females over a three-month period

A 44-year-old Indian cook who molested two young girls in Singapore was given a three-month and four-week prison term.

Sushil Kumar admitted admission to two counts of molesting the victims, according to a Friday story in the TODAY newspaper.

He chose another girl whom he groped without her permission and expressed his ‘love’ for her despite the fact that she did not know him only about three months after he first abused a young girl in broad daylight outside a tube train station.

On each instances, Kumar excessively embraced, kissed, or otherwise touched the females.

The girl, who was 14 at the time, was reportedly heading home from the Boon Keng railway station on the afternoon of August 2 last year when Kumar stopped in front of her to talk to her.

The victim, unable to comprehend him, assumed he was requesting directions to the station from her.

The child gestured in the direction of the station, and the inmate replied by encircling her shoulders and making physical contact with her without her will, according to Deputy Public Prosecutor (DPP) Delicia Tan. Additionally, he kissed the girl’s right cheek.

Then, after getting her cellphone number, Kumar stored it. He gave the girl another embrace and numerous kisses on her right cheek.

Later, he took many “selfie” pictures of himself with the girl using his cell device.

Even though Kumar invited her to join him for lunch, the girl declined, saying she had to go home.

Before urging her to contact him if she needed money, he gave her another one- to two-minute embrace and kiss on the cheek.

The girl hurried home and informed her mother about what happened after he left.

That night, a police complaint was filed.

Investigations further found that following this interaction, Kumar attempted to video call the girl twice, sent her two texts over WhatsApp, and sent her another text message with two emoticons, one of which was blowing a kiss.

The next day, Kumar was detained, and the following day, he was freed on station bail.

A few months later, on November 8, the evening, a 19-year-old woman was waiting at the elevator lobby of a housing complex when Kumar, intending to offend her modesty, unexpectedly stroked the teen’s arm.

Then, after inquiring about her ethnicity, he declared his love for her people.

The youngster attempted to pull away as he touched her arm, but he persisted and continued.

At this point, a second guy entered the elevator lobby and took a position behind Kumar.

As he caressed the teenager’s arm, Kumar carried on a conversation with her. Later, the three of them went inside the elevator.

Kumar repeatedly told the youngster that he “loved” her and twice blew kisses at her after the other guy left on the seventh level.

Since they were in a small space and she was unsure of what to do, this made her feel terrified, according to DPP Tan.

The youngster hurried out of the elevator when it reached the 15th level and went back to her house to inform her mother what had occurred.

If the adolescent called the police, it is unknown.

On November 8, Kumar was located and arrested at his home. The police also confiscated security video from the elevator.

District Judge Paul Chan said that he did not accept Kumar’s apology during the sentencing process since a person who is really sorry would not repeat the same act a few months later.

The court continued, saying it was particularly troubling that Kumar chose a helpless victim to prey upon and acted persistently and brazenly while committing his crimes in a public setting.

He might have received a sentence of up to two years in prison, a fine, the cane, or any combination of these penalties for using unlawful force to offend the modesty of the two victims.
